When it comes to dental pain: it's better to reach out once too early than to wait too long. Some causes worsen rapidly if left untreated. Contact us if you experience the following:
Severe or Throbbing Toothache
Especially if the pain persists for hours, gets worse, or keeps you awake at night. This may indicate an inflammation or abscess.
Swelling in the Face or Gums
Swelling is a sign that an infection is spreading. Please don't wait — this needs prompt treatment.
Broken or Knocked-Out Tooth
In a dental emergency, every minute counts. Keep the tooth or fragment moist (in milk or saliva) and come to the practice immediately.

A standard painkiller (e.g., ibuprofen) can temporarily relieve the discomfort.
Cool the affected side externally with a damp cloth — not directly with ice.
Avoid very hot, very cold, or very sweet food and drinks.
